Please join us for refreshments and a stimulating conversation facilitated by Jill Nilsen and Debby Cook.
The event will be very interactive, involving scenarios to discuss and share board strategies that work. Cook will discuss roles and responsibilities of Board Members, including job descriptions and expectations. Nilsen will share effective board engagement and communication strategies. Participants will also have a chance to discuss how to build board capacity, increase board education, and deal with difficult board members.
Board Chairs and Executive Directors are encouraged to attend as a team, as the relationship between the two will be discussed.
